For Welsh graphic prop designer Annie Atkins, the little things are big business. She’s designed quirky and pleasing everyday objects to fill the backgrounds of films and TV shows, including Wes Anderson’s stylish “Isle of Dogs” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” Here she shares her 10 rules for working under pressure.

Annie Atkins is renowned for her work designing everyday objects that populate the backgrounds of major films and TV shows. Atkins has designed graphics for “Joker,” “West Side Story,” “Underground Railroad,” “The Tudors,” and “Penny Dreadful”; and contributed to Wes Anderson’s “Isle of Dogs” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” the latter of which won the Oscar for Best Production Design. She has also created branding for commercial clients including Amorepacific, Hendrick's Gin, and SteamLine Luggage.
