Tajana Tokyo is a Sierra Leonean British director. As a professional dancer—working across world tours such as Beyoncé’s Formation, and films including “Lemonade,” “The Visual Album” and “Dirty Computer Emotion Picture”—Tokyo is instinctively urged by movement and sound in all vocations, and her work has an energetic, musical style. Her short film “Salone Love” explored perspectives on love and relationships in Sierra Leone.
