Toronto-born writer and sometimes comedian Monica Heisey lives and works in London. Her essays have been published by the Guardian, the New Yorker and the New York Times; and as a screenwriter, she’s contributed to “Schitt's Creek,” “Workin’ Moms” and “Everything I Know About Love”, among other TV shows. In 2015, Heisey published her debut collection, “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better”, and her first novel, “Really Good, Actually,” was released in 2023. That same year, Heisey wrote a piece for WePresent’s Work Sucks, I Know series.
