British actress Letitia Wright began her career with roles on television shows “Top Boy”, “Humans”, “Doctor Who” and “Black Mirror” before transitioning to film in 2015’s “Urban Hymn”. From there she went on to play Shuri in 2018’s “Black Panther”, gaining global recognition and winning an NAACP Image Award and a SAG Award. She starred in the sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and will next be seen in “Avengers: Doomsday”. Wright partnered with WePresent to make her directorial debut, “Highway to the Moon”, a surreal short film tackling the effects of knife crime and following young Black boys as they navigate a world between life and death.
