Fernanda Pineda is a Colombian photographer, producer and filmmaker with an extensive background in documenting ethnic and cultural diversity. A graduate of the Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Pineda has dedicated her career to capturing and narrating visual stories that showcase the richness and challenges of local communities. We featured her project visualizing the impact of fossil fuel extraction on the Wayúu people of Colombia.
